Times: 12:30pm - 4:00pm

Star Tribune Holiday Cookie Contest Winners

Get holiday baking inspiration and sample the winning recipes from the Star Tribune's Taste Holiday Cookie Contest. Rick Nelson of the Star Tribune will talk about the contest, how it's judged, and what makes a great holiday cookie. Sample the winning recipes and enjoy hot cider and coffee from 1 to 3 pm, then vote for your favorite cookie for the visitor’s choice award. Bring a holiday recipe to share and get baking tips.

Finish the day with a cookie demo by Patrice Johnson, a past winner of the Star Tribune Holiday Cookie Contest and the author of the new book "Jul: Swedish American Holiday Traditions" from the Minnesota Historical Society Press.

The Star Tribune's Taste section sponsors the annual Holiday Cookie Contest in which readers submit their favorite holiday cookie recipes. The winner and runners-up are announced in the Taste section on November 30.
