August 25, 2011, Thursday - Chad Hoopes Recital at MacPhail

Time: 7:30pm

Location: MacPhail Center for Music, Antonello Hall, 501 2nd Street South

Classical Minnesota Public Radio has named a teenaged prodigy its third-ever Artist-in-Residence. At age 17, Chad Hoopes, a student at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia with Minnesota roots, has played with orchestras around the world.

On August 25, Chad will begin his Artist-in-Residence year with a recital at MacPhail, followed by a reception.  Classical MPR's Steve Staruch will host the concert.
