August 21, 2013, Wednesday - 'Let's Keep Dancing' Performance at MacPhail

Time: 7:30pm

Location: MacPhail Center for Music, 501 2nd Street South

Let's Keep Dancing

Join engaging musical theater performers Joey Clark, Andrea Leap and Jerry Rubino for a humorous concert about facades in our romantic relationships, told through theatrical songs from the Great American Songbook to the musical theater composers of today. Deceptions and self-deceptions, miscommunication and mystery, with music from Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Kurt Weill, George Gershwin, Pasek and Paul, Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, Leiber and Stoller, Jonathon Larson, Adam Gwon and others. Presented in a cabaret setting in MacPhail's Antonello Hall, with a reception to follow.

Admission is free and open to the public, although seating is limited. Video recording will be taking place during the performance.

This concert was made possible by an Artist Development Grant from the McKnight Foundation and MacPhail Center for Music.
