Give your taste buds a treat and experience delectable food grown locally and sustainably here in Minnesota! Featuring a vast variety of food samples from breads and jams to macaroons and smoked fish, The Homegrown Experience is sure to please your palate.

The Homegrown Experience will give people a greater understanding and appreciation of where food comes from, and how to enjoy it the Homegrown way.

The event features chef demonstrations, an educational stage will give people the ability to talk one-on-one with local farmers, community supported agriculture (CSA), co-ops, food producers, vintners and brewers. Participants will be able to sip, sample, purchase and learn about local, sustainable and organic foods.

Tickets are available online or by calling 612-230-6400.  Cost is $25 in advance; $30 at the door.  The event is for ages 21 and over.

The Homegrown Experience is a perfect and unique chance to talk with people who are interested in learning more about local food and where they can find it. Vendors can educate the public on their processes, help the local food movement grow stronger, and gain new customers.
