Final reading and chapbook release
Featuring Robert Karimi
With Rebecca Lux, Nimo Farah, Eva Song Margolis, Luis Lopez, Michele Kiang, Cyril Thomas, Lilian Brion, Rebecca Song and Anthony Hines

The Loft Literary Center’s Inroads programs provides opportunities for emerging writers from marginalized communities to work with established writing mentors from their own communities. This year, Robert Farid Karimi worked with artists over 12 weeks on writing and performance, culminating in two final performances, at the Loft in Minneapolis on the evening of Friday, August 2, and in Saint Paul and Black Dog Cafe on the afternoon of Saturday, August 3. Both events are free, though chapbooks featuring the work of Robert and the Inroads participants will be available for sale at both events.

The Loft’s Inroads Mentorship for Immigrants and Refugees is supported by the Laura Jane Musser Fund, Traveler’s Employee Diversity Committee, United Arts, and the contributions of Loft members.

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
