August 19, 2013, Monday - RiverFirst Movie at Scherer Brothers Site

Time: 7 pm, with movie starting 15 min. after sunset

Location: Scherer Brothers Site, Sibley and Eighth Avenue NE

The final RiverFirst movie series is Monday, August 19, featuring Desperately Seeking Susan, is a 1985 American comedy-drama film directed by Susan Seidelman and starring Rosanna Arquette and Madonna.

Come at 7 pm to enjoy dinner from one of the two on-site food trucks -- or bring a picnic. Then roll out a blanket and enjoy the Minneapolis cityscape in the setting sun. Movies start 15 minutes after sunset.

RiverFirst movie events are produced by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board's Music & Movies in the Parks team and presented by the Minneapolis Parks Foundation with support from the McKnight Foundation.
