August 19, 2012, Sunday - The Homegrown Experience at Nicollet Island Pavilion

Time: 11:00am - 4:00pm

Location:  Nicollet Island Pavilion

Give your taste buds a treat and experience delectable food grown locally and sustainably here in Minnesota! Featuring a vast variety of food samples from breads and jams to macaroons and smoked fish, The Homegrown Experience is sure to please your palate.

A Food & Wine event focusing on local, organic & sustainable food available in the Twin Cities Metro Area.The event features chef demonstrations, an educational stage will give people the ability to talk one-on-one with local farmers, community supported agriculture (CSA), co-ops, food producers, vintners and brewers. Participants will be able to sip, sample, purchase and learn about local, sustainable and organic foods.

Tickets are available online.  Cost is $20 in advance; $25 at the door.  The event is for ages 21 and over.
