August 15, 2012, Thursday - Runnin' With The Law 2013 at Father Hennepin Park

Times: Kids Fun Run Starts 6:15pm; 5K Starts 6:30pm

Location: Father Hennepin Park, 420 Main Street SE

Registration & K-9 Unit Demo........6:00 p.m.
Kids Fun Run Start..................6:30 p.m.
5K Start............................6:45 p.m.

5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run with proceeds benefiting the Minneapolis Police Department’s Fitness Team. The Fitness Team is dedicated to establishing an active, healthy culture within the Minneapolis Police Department and local community.

There will be police demonstrations from SWAT and mounted patrol, as well as live music, after the race.

Pint glass with complementary root beer or beer from Rock Bottom Brewery provided for participants at the end of the course.

Team Challenge awards for the largest team and most creative team name will be awarded just after the race.

Course Description Race will be run on The Stone Arch Bridge and along the river road and is an out and back course.
