April 5, 2018, Thursday - All Are Welcome Beer: A benefit for the ACLU at Lakes & Legends

Time: 5 PM - 10 PM

Location: Lakes & Legends Brewing Company, 1368 Lasalle Avenue

All Are Welcome Beer: A benefit for the ACLU

Join us Thursday, April 5 for All Are Welcome Beer, a free and open event that encourages others to stand up for inclusion and representation in our community and raises money for the ACLU of Minnesota, a local champion fighting for the rights of All.

From 5:00-8:00pm, we'll be hosting a happy hour with celebrity bartenders and community champions of inclusion, with 100% of tips and 10% of sales of the 2018 “All Are Welcome Beer,” brewed just for this event, donated to the ACLU.

Starting at 8:00pm, we've invited our more musically-inclined guest bartenders to perform at our micro-show. No cover fee, but donations-in-lieu of cover will be gladly accepted at the door.

Throughout the night local nonprofits will have staffed tables to share information about their missions and volunteer opportunities for you to do more good in our community and beyond.

Kids and dogs welcome, too.

Scheduled to appear so far? Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey; Council Member Phillipe Cunningham; journalist and arts advocate Robyne Robinson; author and host of The Local Show Andrea Swensson; local music icons John Munsonjeremy messersmithMaria Isa, and Lazerbeak; and Double Consciousness, podcasters Toussaint Morrison and Joetta Wright.

Also new this year? Photo booth from They/Them Project photographer Brent Dundore, BD Portraits Studio.

Last year, the love and the line for All Are Welcome Beer was down the block. This year, our event is still free and open to all, but we're also offering something new – ACLU Super Supporter tickets! Learn more: http://bit.ly/aclu_super_supporter.
