April 4, 2011, Monday - Surdyk's Chocolate: Food of the Gods Class at Ginger Hop

Time: 6:30pm (lasts approximately 2 hours)

Location: Ginger Hop, 201 East Hennepin Avenue

Instructor: Kelsey Sheridan

Since ancient times and across cultures, chocolate has been known as "the food of the Gods."  The delicate process of growing, harvesting, roasting and conching the cocoa bean is an art with a mouth-watering outcome.  From cocoa bean to bar, from South America to Minneapolis, from dark chocolate to truffles, we'll explore the transformative journey chocolate takes to melt euphorically in your mouth.  We'll touch on health benefits and include some unique beverage pairings as well. Come indulge your senses through chocolate!

Please allow yourself time to check in before the start of class!  Parking will be available at Surdyk's for attendees the night of the event!

$40.00 per person, Reservations Required
