Powering Inclusion Summit: The Relentless Pursuit of an Inclusive Economy

Our racial diversity can be one of our region’s greatest assets in our pursuit for economic growth and competitiveness, when we move from curiosity to consciousness, and begin to power inclusion. Minneapolis-St. Paul is one of the few metro areas that can boast nearly 20 Fortune 500 companies, one of the strongest economies in the nation and a skilled and diverse workforce with the talent to compete globally. Yet, our economy is slowing, and we need skills, tools and resources to engage everyone fully in our economy and build communities that thrive because of our diversity, not in spite of it.

Join the Center for Economic Inclusion for their first Annual Powering Inclusion Summit where we will equip private, public and civic change makers and policy influencers with the knowledge, tools and networks to disrupt inequitable policies and practices and take daily actions that lead to increased growth, innovation and inclusive workplaces. Together, we can shape local and national action on inclusive economic growth and increase awareness of its benefits, possibilities and pathways from awareness, to action, to accountability. The Summit will feature three exciting plenary sessions and several breakout workshops.
