April 29, 2019, Monday - Talk of the Stacks at Central Library

Time: Doors open at 6:15:00pm; program begins at 7:00pm

Location: Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall

Talk of the Stacks with Anna Quindlen

Join us for an evening of conversation with Anna Quindlen, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and bestselling author of "Miller''s Valley."

Anna Quindlen is the author of several celebrated novels, including "One True Thing" and "Object Lessons." During her tenure as a columnist at the New York Times, she won the Pulitzer Prize and published two collections, "Living Out Loud" and "Thinking Out Loud." Her memoir "Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake," published in 2012, was a #1 New York Times bestseller. Now she returns with the lively "Nanaville," a beautiful and moving book about being a grandmother. Candid, funny, frank, and illuminating, Quindlen's singular voice has never been sharper or warmer.

This program is FREE and open to the public. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for general admission seating. The program begins at 7 p.m.

Accessibility: To request ASL interpreting, please contact friends@hclib.org at least one week prior to the event. Assistive listening devices and wheelchair accessible and companion seating are available at all Talk of the Stacks events.

The 2019 Talk of the Stacks series is presented by U.S. Bank with additional support from the Star Tribune.
