April 27, 2014, Sunday - A Choice of Weapons: A Living Legacy Docent Tour at Mill City Museum

A Choice of Weapons: A Living Legacy Docent Tour

Dates: April 27 and May 31, 2014

Fee: Free. $6 discounted museum admission is available.

Join a student photographer for a docent-led tour of the exhibit "A Choice of Weapons: A Living Legacy" on view in the museum's Mill Commons through June 8, 2014. The exhibit features work by the students alongside images by world-renowned photographer Gordon Parks. The students participated in the One Minneapolis One Read photography residency at Juxtaposition Arts working with nationally acclaimed photographer Jamel Shabazz. The docent-led tours are free, but space is limited so preregistration is encouraged.

Museum admission will be available at a discounted rate of $6/free for MNHS members. The One Minneapolis One Read book, A Choice of Weapons, will be for sale in the gift store at a 25-percent discount.
