Crohn's Disease is an aggressive form of inflammatory bowel disease affecting 1.2 million people in the USA. Numbers are increasing, especially in children. Symptoms include chronic abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, and weight loss. Up to 80% of sufferers will need surgery at some point in their lifetime. There is currently no cure.
