April 23, 2016, Saturday - Pillsbury Hall Instameet

Time: 10:00am - Noon

Location: Pillsbury Hall, 310 Pillsbury Drive SE

Pillsbury Hall Instameet hosted by MNCommunity

Did you know that Pillsbury Hall was built in 1887 and is the second oldest building on the Twin Cities Campus of the University of Minnesota? Pillsbury Hall is on the National Register of Historic Buildings as part of the "old campus district."

This Instameet will be a walking exploration of the University campus starting at Pillsbury Hall with coffee and then a tour of the building where you will hear about renovation plans.

We will have a mid-meet check-in point at McNamara Plaza and then ending the meet at the Weisman Art Museum (@weismanartmuseum) with a self-directed scavenger hunt!

We will point out other places of photographic interest as we explore the campus - if you haven't been on campus in awhile (or ever!), this is a great opportunity to check out many of the beautiful places on campus.

Full Schedule of Events:
10am: Welcome at Pillsbury Hall, 310 Pillsbury Drive SE, Mpls MN 55455
10:30am: Group Photo at Pillsbury Hall
 11:00am: Second Stop: McNamara Plaza
12:00pm: Final Stop: Weisman Museum (Meet outside main lobby in the plaza area)

Hashtag: #mncomm_myumnstory

Please note that this will be a walking tour so please plan accordingly.

We suggest using public transportation and carpooling - street parking available and the closest parking ramp would be the Church Street Garage.

Event is Free and Open to the Public!
