Time: 10:00am – 2:30pm

Location:  Mill City Museum, 704 Second Street South

Preservation Alliance of Minnesota presents: How to Paint a Window

It might seem obvious, but painting a window correctly requires knowledge, a little patience and skill. Fear not - help is here! This class will teach you all you need to know about giving your old windows a new life and a makeover that will last for years. Topics will include necessary tools, cleaning windows, removing old paint, sanding wood, priming, paint application, best paints for interior/exterior application and how to pick the right brush.

This will be a hands-on workshop with step-by-step demonstrations. Please dress accordingly! Students will leave with confidence to deal with their windows and new techniques for applying painting without using tape. There will be a break for a group lunch at 12 noon. Information and registration.
