April 22, 2017, Saturday - The Blue Line Tour with the Preservation Alliance of MN

Transit Tour Series: Blue Line

Time: 9 AM - 12 PM

Location: Target Field (Metro Transit station), 5th Street NE

Join Preservation Alliance of MN for the first of our three-part transit tour series! The Blue Line Tour focuses on the architecture, design, history, and development of the Hiawatha Corridor. Learn from architecture and transit experts how the built environment intertwines with the evolution of transportation in the Twin Cities.

After a special behind-the-scenes tour of Target Field in downtown Minneapolis, we’ll hop on the train and make our way to Mall of America. Stops include Government Center, US Bank Stadium, Riverside Plaza, and Minnehaha Park.

This is a point-to-point tour, beginning at Target Field and ending at the MOA. If you’re driving, park wherever along the line is most convenient for your post-tour plans.

Your $25 registration fee *includes* the tour of Target Field and train fare.

Save the dates for our other two transit tours!
September 16th: A-Line Tour
October 14th: Green Line Tour
