On Saturday, April 22, over 700 teens are expected to attend the 11th annual Minneapolis Teen Job and Opportunity Fair taking place at the Hennepin County Library - Minneapolis Central from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event is free to attend and pre-registration is not required.

The Minneapolis Teen Job and Opportunity Fair is a great way for teens aged 14 to 19 to connect to job-search resources and find out more about available volunteer, internship, training, and employment opportunities. More than forty businesses and organizations are expected to exhibit including TJ Maxx, Minneapolis Park and Recreation, Mall of America, Lunds and Byerlys, and Home Depot.

Teens should come dressed to impress, prepared to network with potential employers, and distribute resumes. Coaches will work help youth maximize their experience by targeting their resumes, recommending which employer booths to visit, and preparing them for face-to-face meetings.
