Preserving our planet for future generations is an important initiative, and it takes awareness and effort to make it happen. Each year, Earth Day on April 22 is a reminder of that cause. Earth Day was created in 1970 and really helped usher in a new age of environmental preservation.

This year, Hennepin County be celebrating Earth Day presented by Hennepin County with an event at Target Field Station on April 22 from 4-6 p.m. The event will include food, music, giveaways and much more. Be sure to plan your Earth Day around this fun downtown get-together.
