St. Paul Chamber Orchestra’s Liquid Music Series: Double Header: New Music and Dance Duos

April 17 and 18

Two world premieres. One features composer-pianist Dustin O’Halloran (Marie AntoinetteLion) and choreographer Fukiko Takase (Company Wayne McGregor). The other pairs composer and saxophonist Mike Lewis (Bon Iver, Happy Apple) with Stockholm-based choreographer/dancer Eva Mohn (Cullberg Ballet, TU Dance). “I love dance so much,” Nordstrum said. “I’m bringing dance into the Liquid Music fold.” It doesn’t hurt that last season’s TU Dance/Bon Iver collaboration was a massive hit, selling out all four shows at the Palace.
