Bring the whole family to MacPhail Center for Music to experience unusual and surprising instruments like 5 gallon buckets, tin cans and spoons with the Minnesota Percussion Trio. The fun includes treats and an art project for children to make their own instruments made out of everyday household materials. They will be encouraged to use their handmade instruments during improvisation with the audience! Plus, come a little early or stay a little late for hands-on time with these unique instruments and talk with the musicians that use them every day.
