Jazz Spotlight
Showcasing nationally known guest artist Adam Niewood performing post-bop jazz. Antonello Hall comes alive with the sounds of jazz in this two part performance. Joining Niewood will be MacPhail’s jazz faculty and the Dakota Combo, MacPhail’s premier student jazz ensemble, lighting up the evening with music from the post-bop jazz era.
Tonight’s performance is the culmination of a day-long jazz festival which will be held at MacPhail.
The jazz festival and performance are co-funded by the Dakota Foundation for Jazz Education.
