April 11, 2019, Thursday - Beyond Words Bash at Aria

Beyond Words Bash 

The Minnesota Literacy Council's second annual Beyond Words Bash will be keynoted by Dessa, a rapper, singer and essayist whose resume includes performances with the Minnesota Orchestra as well as rap sets at Lollapalooza and Glastonbury. Her most recent album, Chime (Doomtree Records), was listed by NPR Music as one of the best albums of 2018.

This can't-miss evening includes cocktails, dinner, stories from literacy learners, a live auction and remarks from Dessa. Plus, special guest: singer/songwriter Aby Wolf!
