April 10, 2014, Thursday - Dandelion Honey Pastry Chef Challenge at Nicollet Island Pavilion

Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Location: Nicollet Island Pavilion, 40 Power Street

Local professional chefs will be presenting their best pastries featuring dandelion honey. Restaurant chefs are competing from: Spoonriver, Lucia’s, Restaurant Alma, Birchwood, Anodyne, Gigi’s Café Uptown, Mason Restaurant Barre, Open Arms, Seward Co-op Bakery, as well as Abby Boone of Treat, Susan Brown of Mademoiselle Miel and chef/ educator Jenny Breen of the University of Minnesota.

 Celebrity judges to decide the winners include Dr. Marla Spivak, Ann Bancroft, Stephanie Musich, Brenda Langton, Ann Kim and Dara Maskowitz-Grumdahl.

Price: $30 in advance at www.thebeezkneezdelivery.com/pastrychef/, $35 at the door. Ticket includes samples of pastries, live music, cash bar and a chance to win door prizes. Free parking also available!
