Earth Day 2016 Results = Impressive

From a May 5 Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board e-newsletter:

The Minneapolis Earth Day event on Saturday, April 23 helps with the greening efforts of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and creates a more beautiful environment throughout Minneapolis Parks. Thank you to Cargill for sponsoring the event and to all of our volunteers for coming out and making this event a huge success.

We collected 1,640 pounds of metal, 640 pounds of recycling and a whopping 8,100 pounds of garbage!

If you participated in this event we are seeking feedback about what we can do to improve the event in the future. Please take just five minutes to complete this survey
