Once you get to the checkpoints, you must complete a task before moving on to the next checkpoint. These checkpoint challenges may test you mentally or physically or might just be downright silly. The first team to successfully complete all of the challenges wins $5,000!

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in all race events. Employees of The Salvation Army are not eligible to compete.

When and where is the race?
The qualifying event will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota. The top 20 teams that qualify, along with up to 10 top fundraising teams, will continue on to The MOST Amazing Race that will start at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon. Teams that do not qualify for the final race are welcome to volunteer that afternoon at one of the race challenge locations.

The starting line and the Polaris Finish Line for The MOST Amazing Race that afternoon are both at the end of the Stone Arch Bridge, located at West River Parkway and Portland Ave in downtown Minneapolis. After the race, we throw a big party for the racers and their families that culminates with the huge Aquatennial Target fireworks.
