September 15, 2019, Sunday - 13th Annual Minneapolis Bike Tour

The 13th annual Minneapolis Bike Tour starts and ends at beautiful Boom Island and features multiple fully supported routes that take riders through the spectacular park and byway system of Minneapolis at their own pace, traffic free!

  • 8 am: Brief Opening Ceremony
  • 8:05 am: Shortly after Opening Ceremony, a controlled start will begin
  • 8:45 am: All riders must be on the route
Proceeds from the Minneapolis Bike Tour will benefit bike safety and education events for Minneapolis youth as well as bike trail improvement projects throughout the system.

We are proud to partner with Zevia and Trips for Kids to offer a short, 3.5 mile loop for young and new riders this year! This route starts and finishes at Boom Island, taking riders through Father Hennepin Park, over the Stone Arch Bridge and along West River Road.

We are excited to be offering a NEW short course highlighting the beautiful, traffic-free Midtown Greenway. This short course option is 19 miles and will feature two rest stops offering water and snacks.

The long route of 32 miles will be the same popular route from years past highlighting the gorgeous Chain of Lakes and a water stop at the iconic Minnehaha Falls.

Full map and other event details are available at www.minneapolisbiketour.com under the event information tab.
