September 7, 2017, Thursday - Loft Happy Hour

Time: See event schedule below

Location: The Loft, 1011 Washington Avenue S

Loft Happy Hour

This fall, the Loft is hosting a happy hour dabbler. Come learn about our new Vigilance theme, find out about some major new Loft initiatives, ask questions of Loft staff and teaching artists, take some sample classes, attend an info session about the Novel Writing and Memoir Writing Projects, and potentially win a free slot into a Loft class. Drinks will be served. Drop in anytime.

The schedule will look like this:

4:30pm–7:30pm — Libations and mingling. Come meet Loft members, students, staff, and teaching artists throughout the Happy Hour. There will be information on all of the Loft's fall offerings, including our new Vigilance theme, and a station to find Loft teaching artists to ask questions about upcoming classes.
5:00pm — Free "mini" classes start. A full schedule will be published that night, and each brief class will be led by a fall teaching artist to give you a sample of some upcoming Loft classes.
5:30pm — Info sessions on the year-long Novel Writing Project with Peter Geye and the year-long Memoir Writing Project with Nicole Helget.
6:00pm — Hear from Britt Udesen, Loft Executive Director. She'll talk about our new thematic programming as well as unveil some other exciting new initiatives coming to the Loft in the near future.
