October 5, 2017, Thursday - Talk of the Stacks at Central Library

Time: Doors open at 6:15pm; program begins at 7:00pm

Location: Central Library, Pohlad Hall, 300 Nicollet Mall

Talk of the Stacks is a reading series exploring contemporary literature and culture. Programs are free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. Programs begin at 7 pm. Doors open at 6:15 pm. Books are available for sale and signing. Signing follows lecture.

Talk of the Stacks - A free author series with today's most compelling literary voices. 

We are thrilled to be hosting two free Talk of the Stacks events at Hennepin County Library - Minneapolis Central this fall on October 5 and November 2. 

October 5: Larry Olmsted, an award-winning health care expert, will discuss his new book, Real Food, Fake Food: Why You Don't Know What You're Eating & What You Can Do About It. 

November 2: Chris Riemenschneider, music reporter for the Star Tribune, will launch his new book, First Ave: Minnesota's Mainroom. He'll be joined in conversation with Daniel Corrigan and Danny Sigelman, co-creators of Heyday: 35 Years of Music in Minneapolis, for a lively discussion on the growing and evolving Minneapolis music scene.
