August 30, 2017, Wednesday - Plant Native Species and Tend the Demonstration Prairie at Ole Olson Park

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Location: Ole Olson Park, 2325 West River Road N

Plant Native Species and Tend the Demonstration Prairie

Join Friends of the Mississippi River staff and volunteers as they head back to Ole Olson Park along the Mississippi riverfront for a summer evening of planting and tending the native demonstration prairie garden. This event will help further the long-term transformation and commitment at this site and to the river. Although a small urban site, Ole Olson is home to a surprising diversity of landscapes, including riverfront shoreline, woodland terrace and grassland slopes.

All are welcome; tools and training will be provided, but pre-registration is required. Learn more, including how to sign up, at
