Shopping Basket from the June 18 Mill City Farmers Market

Holy mackerel - I hit the mother lode! Too much for the old Market basket to handle.  There's a quinoa dish on the menu this week - cooked in Ramen Broth from Abrothecary, and beefed up with butter-browned shiitake from Cherry Tree House Mushrooms, pea pods from Prairie Hollow Farms and a few hazelnuts from Hazelnut Valley Farm, topped off with some spicy micro greens from Holistic Health Farms.  I'll also be experimenting with grilling beets from Burning River Farm and those adorable little carrots from Seed to Seed Farm. And the first green beans of the season? Those are for snacking on at my desk. :D
