Shopping Basket from the July 16 Mill City Farmers Market

New in the basket this week: Blueberries from HeathGlen Farm & Kitchen, prized Mokum carrots from Burning River Farm and MN Sweet Corn Soup from Abrothercary. Look for an upcoming post on our Farmers Market blog featuring homemade MCFM Granola Bars made with a laundry list of Market ingredients, including some items we picked up today: Bliss Gourmet Foods Butterscotch Pecan granola, peanut butter and organic toasted maple coconut flakes from the Wedge Community Co-op Pop-up Market and chocolate from French Nugget. And yes, I'm hooked on the me&Z coconut almond milk! It's been wonderful for smoothies, but I do have a coffee cake recipe up my sleeve that calls for almond milk, so I went with the big bottle this week.  :D
