Heidi Skoog introduced shoppers to Serious Jam at the June 11 Market. After much deliberation I chose the Cherry Chocolate Bitters, but my wheels were turning for fun uses for each flavor (over ice cream, blended in a smoothie, stuffed in pastry, swirled in oatmeal, baked in a crumble).
Heidi uses the best local fruit she can find, from farmers who are selling next to her at farmers markets when possible, to make Serious Jam. She loves to make those connections and be able to tell her customers the jam they're eating is from a local farmer’s land. Using organic cane sugar, high quality spices, liqueurs, and spirits, Heidi makes well-balanced, not-too-sweet creations like Blueberry Bourbon Sage and Maple Brandy Apple Butter.
