Madeline Lading Invites You to Fall in Love with Maple Syrup

A recent article by Madeline Lading in The Journal, Fall in Love with Maple Syrup, includes information on substituting maple syrup for sugar, nutritional value and how to tell what a quality maple syrup is. It also includes a recipe from The Wedge Community Co-op (a Mill City Farmers Market sponsor), which was prepared by a Wedge catering chef during a Mill City Cooks demo: Brussels Sprout and Celeriac Slaw with Maple Glazed Pepitas.

You can find fresh, hand-harvested maple syrup from Horner’s Corner at the Mill City Farmers Market. Look for them at the winter markets inside the Mill City Museum.
