Jeff Nistler of Nistler Farms - Skilled Farmer, Baker and Photographer

Our Mill City Farmers Market vendors are a multi-talented, creative bunch. Take, for example, Jeff Nistler of Nistler Farms. Sure, he grows some of the best sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, squash and Christmas trees that money can buy. He also bakes a mean loaf of squash bread. But most people don't know he's also a skilled photographer.

Mpls Photo Center has selected one of Jeff's photos for their upcoming exhibit, A View from Flyover Country, which opens May 17 in conjunction with Art-A-Whirl. Jeff will also be exhibiting a collection of farm photos and South American travel photos at ArtAndes (Studio 285) in the Northrup King Building during the 3-day Art-A-Whirl event, May 17, 18 and 19.

A collection of Jeff's photos taken in Minnesota and Peru.
